Meera Jasmine is a well established South Indian film actress. She is a national award winning actress. She acted in various Tollywood, Kollywood, Malayalam and Kannada movies.

Meera Jasmine was introduced to the film industry by Lohitadas.  Her debut film was Soothradharan in 2001.The film was directed by Lohithadas starring opposite Dileep. Although she acted well in the film, it ended as a flop..but, she got many offers from other languages directors including telugu,tamil and kannada directors. She entered into Tollywood industry with the film Run, the film did well at the box office though it was  flopped in tamil. Not only that, she won the Filmfare Best female debut actress award for the year 2002 for that very same movie.

Meera Jasmine won many awards and rewards including National award and four time Film fare award for Best actress, Kerala State film award,etc
